PROFILE
Before joining as a partner at Barreiro, Guido worked and was a partner at leading law firms in Argentina and studied in the United States.
He specializes in providing business advice to clients from various sectors, including the textile industry, wood export companies, robotics, and cybersecurity. His focus is particularly on matters related to commercial contracts and international business, as well as dispute resolution through arbitration. Additionally, he advises clients on preventing corporate conflicts or in their corporate development, whether extrajudicial or judicial.
In the field of insolvency, Guido assists clients with risk prevention and analysis or in developing insolvency processes, representing both debtors and creditors.
In his arbitration practice, he serves as an arbitrator, expert witness, advisor, and representative of clients in both local and international arbitrations; in dispute resolution, he specializes in corporate conflicts, serving as a court-appointed monitor designated by national judges or as an advisor and representative of clients. In insolvency matters, he represents either debtors or creditors.
Currently, he is the Vice President of the Argentine Committee on Commercial Practice and Law of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), a member of the Argentine Arbitration Committee of the ICC, and an Adjunct Professor at the Faculty of Law of the University of Buenos Aires.
